Matsubayashi Optics (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd., Matsubayashi Optronics (Hubei) Co., Ltd., and SOLARICH OPTRONICS CO., LTD, collectively referred to as "Songlin Group", hereby declare:
Due to the designation of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and its neighboring countries (e.g., Republic of the Congo, South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Angola, Central African Republic, Rwanda, Burundi, etc.) as Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas (CAHRAs) under the OECD Guidance Annex II, the mining and trade of 3TG minerals (Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten, Gold), Cobalt, and Mica in these regions may financially support armed groups, leading to human rights violations and environmental destruction. To curb such practices and promote regional stability, Songlin Group attaches great importance to conflict mineral issues and takes proactive steps to address them.
Conflict minerals have garnered widespread attention in the electronics and other industries. This complex issue requires commitments and collaboration among enterprises, governments, and NGOs. Songlin Group does not procure or support the use of conflict minerals. We mandate all suppliers to:
Ensure products do not contain "Conflict Minerals" sourced from the DRC and its surrounding regions.
Trace the origins of Gold, Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten, Cobalt, and Mica used in all products.
Extend these requirements to downstream suppliers.
Songlin Group solemnly declares: We support addressing supply chain social responsibility issues through industry cooperation and working with customers and suppliers to find sustainable solutions to the conflict minerals problem.
